Customer Service in Taiwan (Canon)

One nice thing about living in Taipei is that whenever you have a problem with your high tech gear you can take it to the actual service center where it gets fixed. The flash on my camera stopped working (after a minor tumble :P.) I stopped into the Canon service center this morning and he checked it out, told me it’d be 1,400NT (about 45US) to fix and sent me on my way. My camera is a few months out of warranty so I’m happy about that.

I’ll be sure to report back on how all that turns out.
